Few weeks back, yen was saying i still got loads to blog.. bout my taiwan trip and my new year resolution etc etc. I assured her that i will finish my entries bout taiwan before xmas, and new yr resolution before 2010.
Now... its nv good to assure ppl, cause i think i've failed badly! I dun even have time for new year resolutions!!!! >.<
But nevertheless, i'll be early to wish everyone a
Happy New Year, 2010!!!!! 9:19 AM // waiting, patiently, in love with you 12th Nov 2009 (Day 7)
Took an hr+ ride to DanShui. Rainy and cooling day as well. Walked along the streets and finally took a bus to Tamshui Fisherman's Wharf. Kinda love the place cause its very spacious and clean.. And we get to see Jiu Fen. I din noe they're so near to each other! Anyways, everything was good if not for the rainy weather!!! I hate holding the umbrella but yet, i dun wish to get wet ..
The most infuriating thing of the day is..... we waited for the bus at the bus stop, and the bus just drove past us w/o stopping!!!! Okay, so we tot maybe we're at the wrong busstop.. and we changed to the busstop opposite.. But the other bus did the same too!!! WTF??? We're tourist.. and they drove so fucking fast, how do they expect us to read the sign and flag them down immediately? So when the next bus came, we flagged it immediately and asked for directions.. And that FUCKING UNCLE GOT A FUCKING BAD ATTITUDE! I almost had the urge to go and slap him in the face. So, we waited for like 30-45 mins at the super isolated busstop with the cold weather. Sigh, bad ppl totally spoil the day! -.-
Anyways, we headed to Taipei Station and kept looking for Taipei Back Station cause we heard there're like loads of shops that sell cosmetic stuffs! But we nv managed to find it! But it was a fruitful trip to Taipei Station cause we combed loads of their masks at Cosmed. As in, really help them to clear the stocks.. cause we bought like 50+ boxes of them altogether? hahaha.. The sales gal gave us a big box to put our mask.. And we even got free gifts too!! =p
And we started packing our luggage that very night cause we have to think of ways to squeeze everything and avoid any overweight baggages..

Woke up pretty early too on this day. Prepared ourselves and out we went. It was kinda heavy rain when we stepped out, and weather was much cooler den ystd.. But we tot its cause of the rain, and at that point of time.. i tot my clothes were 'thick' enough to keep me warm.
Anyways, our plan for the day is to go Jiu Fen. Took ard an hr+ bus ride to reach the peak of the hill. It was raining still, and i didnt know how cold it was till i stepped out of the bus!!!! It was super super windy.. and i started shivering the moment i was exposed to the air outside. FREAKING COLD!!! My clothes aint that thick afterall!! -.-
Went into the alley where there were loads of shops that sells unique souvenirs and we got loads of them! Den we heard from one of the shopkeeper: today very cold ar?? sudden change in weather! ystd was still hot.. -.-
Yes, freaking cold. =( Spent the whole morning at JiuFen and headed to Zhong Xiao after that. Had the famous Ah Zhong Mee Sua and shopped at Sogo. It's crazy cosmetic sales.. omg, the crowd is overwhelming!! I wonder y these ppl dun have to work and can all come down to grab stuffs! Guess its v v v hard to see that scene in Tangs cosmetic dept during a weekday afternoon.
Anyways, we went searching high and low for StayReal!! And yeap, i would sae its a really nice shop! I love the mickey gong zai alot alot!!! And of course, not forgetting the super duper cute shop attendant. Oh my god, he's really cute! Still so into him now! hahaha.. =xx
Back to hotel, rested our foot for a while and out to Xi Men Ding for dinner and some shopping. Well, i can only sae: Xi Men Ding is quite boring. =((( Nth much to shop..
And that ends our day.. the start of cold days!

Woke up pretty late. Prepared ourselves and headed to Wu Fen Pu. We were way too early, cause all the shops were still closed. -.- It was already nearing 12pm den!! Taiwan ppl are really lazy. =xx Anyways, we made our way to Xin Guang 3 Yue and Eslite instead, and thats where we saw Taipei 101!!! =))
Made our way back to Wu Fen Pu after finishing shopping and lunch at eslite. The shops are finally open!!!! And yeap, i love that place!!! Loads of small shops and things to see!! But too bad, its all winter clothings.. =((( So, we didnt manage to get much from there..
Even tho we said we didnt get much... each of us still had our shopping bag fully filled! hahaha.. I think its a blessing we didnt come when its summer sales! Our luggage may be just overly overweight! =p
Headed to Rao He Night Market. The best night market of all that i've been!!!!!!!!!!! Fabulous food and there're actually alot of cute and unique stuffs to buy too!

Had like only 3 hrs slp from the night before. Got up at ard 5 and prepared ourselves. Gaotie back to Taipei. Reached at 9+am. Weather was 22°C, a lil cooler den KaoShiung. Dragged our luggage and had a lil hard time trying to find our hotel. Reached NeiJiang and left our luggage there as we're way too early to check in. So we walked ard Xi Men Ding aimlessly. Kinda lost, plus most of the shops dun open so early!!
So, we had brunch and headed straight to Guess x3 studio. Not much pics were taken, as we're not allowed to upload any pics with artiste inside anyways. We stayed in the studio for like 5-6 hrs before the recording finally ended. Super super super tiring. And i can only sae... watch it on tv/net is MUCH MUCH better den watching it live.
It was already dark when we came out frm the studio.. headed to Shi Da Night Market. Marvelous food!!! Clothes were kinda ex over there tho.
My fav was the ji pa!!! Super super nice. Me and sersing ate most of it tho.. and we were thinking of getting another one for supper. But later on, we didnt.. cause we had difficulty finishing one just for dinner!
Finally checked into our room! Room was BIG, but we still love the condo in Kaoshiung loads! =( It was a super tiring day from just sitting down in the studio. Had my bath, and knock out in bed instantly till next morning..

Got up pretty early and headed down to Gushan Ferry Pier, where we have to take a ferry to another island, CiJin.
Each of us rented a bicycle when we reached Cijin so that we can get ard the island easily. And noe wad.. the rental fee is darn cheap!! NT$100 for unlimited time.. which is less den $5 of rental fees! Super elateD!! =))
Made our way up to the lighthouse. It was just a lil climbing and we all got so tired frm it, cause the weather was super hot!!

Efforts to climb up was worthwhile when we managed to see the beautiful scenery.. =)) Made our way to the beach. Absolutely love it. Weather was hot, but the sea breeze perfects it. =) Amazed by the 'black' sand that we found on the beach. Den we headed to a tunnel where UV lights were utilised... and cause i wore neon orange that day, i glowed in the tunnel. -.- Literally, GLOWED!
Rested our foot, had some drinks and we continued our way to the Windmill park.
After a long day at Cijin, we got back to the mainland and had my fav mango ice!
And we get to have open vandalism at the shop. Love this too!!! =)
Got home.. slacked and headed out again at night to Love River which is 15-20 mins walk away from our hm.
Actually, there was nth amazing about that place as we tot. Reviews seem not bad, but there was NTH there! Kinda disappointing. It was still early when we finished touring, so we went shopping at the nearby Han shopping center. Didnt get stuffs as well and headed home.
We were busy packing our luggage, washing and drying our clothes that night cause......

5-10 mins walk from our place to the MRT station. And we headed down to DreamMall.
It's humongous! With levels up to 9 and a amusement park right at the top of the roof! There wasnt anything much in the mall though cause the shops are almost similar to those in SG, plus, their stuffs aint that cheap either.
The only shop that got my attention. Why? They have like loads of labels and their deco is really exquisite. Too bad the shopkeeper doesnt allow photo-taking. I really love this shop!
Headed to amusement park after we're done with shopping. Took a ride on the hello kitty ferris wheel. It was scary!! cause we're soooooo high up, and none of us really dared to move for fear that the car might tilt to a side!
Guess wad.. The sunset is at 5pm!!! The whole place becomes totally dark by 530pm. So not used to it that we keep thinking its alr 8 when its 530.. We kept thinking we do not have enough time, but only to realise that we're always ahead of our schedule. -.-
Went to 夜市 and had loads of 小吃 like smelly tofu, duck's tongue, sausage etc. Food was really good!!! Can nv find this kinda food in sg.. and now, i'm missing them!! >.<
The food that left the deepest impression is this super big sausage!!! And look at the pic above.. At first flavour!! WAD english is that??? hahaha.. At first = original. We used that term for the rest of our journey when we wanted to order smth with original flavor! =xx
Ended our second day pretty early as we're ahead of schedule. So we went 7-11 and bought tons of stuffs back to the hse for supper. Oh yea, I MISS 7-11 TOO!!!! Cheap stuffs!!! 7-11 here is seriously over-priced. -.-

It's quite a funny combination that sersing went with us. But all of us HAD FUN throughout the whole trip. Got to know everyone better and it was laughter all the way. =))) Trip to Korea next year if possible alright!
Here goes:
6th Nov (Day 1)
Boarded the flight at 2pm and reached Taipei, Tao Yuan Airport at 630pm. Weather was 24°C. Shuttle bus to take gao tie to KaoShiung. Everything went much smoothly den we expected, other den some embarrassing moments in the gao tie. =x Bus was on time, and we managed to get earlier tickets for gao tie to reach KaoShiung. Reached Kaoshiung at 10pm and settled into our REALLY NICE accommodation!!
It's a homestay condominium that is Victorian-style decorated. Pics arent that nice, but the hse is really clean and comfy! The only thing I missed when i left KaoShiung was the house! =(
Their gaotie is comfy and really clean! And tho the travel speed is nearing 300km/h, i dun feel it at all. The whole ride was smooth and i managed to catch a small nap.
And one with the landlord son..He's super super cute! He tot we cant speak chi, and therefore kept chatting with us in English. He's super chatty, but once the tv is switched on..no matter how hard we try to get him talking to us.. his eyes are glued to the tv, and our words are in from the right ear, and out from the left ear.
p.s: thanks mike and ken for fetching tho there are some probs with the car! Much appreciated! =)

Not much pics were taken, as we're not allowed to upload any pics with artiste inside anyways. We stayed in the studio for like 5-6 hrs before the recording finally ended. Super super super tiring. And i can only sae... watch it on tv/net is MUCH MUCH better den watching it live.
My fav was the ji pa!!! Super super nice. Me and sersing ate most of it tho.. and we were thinking of getting another one for supper. But later on, we didnt.. cause we had difficulty finishing one just for dinner!

Rested our foot, had some drinks and we continued our way to the Windmill park.
After a long day at Cijin, we got back to the mainland and had my fav mango ice!
Actually, there was nth amazing about that place as we tot. Reviews seem not bad, but there was NTH there! Kinda disappointing. It was still early when we finished touring, so we went shopping at the nearby Han shopping center. Didnt get stuffs as well and headed home.
It's humongous! With levels up to 9 and a amusement park right at the top of the roof! There wasnt anything much in the mall though cause the shops are almost similar to those in SG, plus, their stuffs aint that cheap either.
Headed to amusement park after we're done with shopping. Took a ride on the hello kitty ferris wheel. It was scary!! cause we're soooooo high up, and none of us really dared to move for fear that the car might tilt to a side!
The food that left the deepest impression is this super big sausage!!! And look at the pic above.. At first flavour!! WAD english is that??? hahaha.. At first = original. We used that term for the rest of our journey when we wanted to order smth with original flavor! =xx
Their gaotie is comfy and really clean! And tho the travel speed is nearing 300km/h, i dun feel it at all. The whole ride was smooth and i managed to catch a small nap.
And one with the landlord son..He's super super cute! He tot we cant speak chi, and therefore kept chatting with us in English. He's super chatty, but once the tv is switched on..no matter how hard we try to get him talking to us.. his eyes are glued to the tv, and our words are in from the right ear, and out from the left ear.
